22-foot Pace American car hauler for sale

$
0
0

2011 Pace American Pursuit, 22-foot box.  Fully loaded.  Built back when they were a real company.  Original MSRP about $18,100.  Have added a second spare tire, third pair of D-rings, modified the built-in tire racks to actually work, and have a spare hub/drum assembly.  Trailer is just too much for the poor 5.9 Cummins in the RV to haul, so I'm trading off some functionality to save weight.  This trailer has an extended tongue, extended roof height (so the tire racks clear the roof of a C5 Corvette or a 370Z), insulated, finished interior, spare tire well in floor, electric jack, framed and wired for A/C (but no A/C installed), 110-volt wiring and long 30-amp hookup, bogey wheels, 2 rows of  E-track around inside, front cabinets, winch, door caddy, work lights over ramp.  Extra height means the ramp is longer so it's even easier to load.  Tire racks fit 10 C5 Corvette wheels and tires.  Yes, that's a strange number.  No dings or dents.  All LED lighting.  Tires are in excellent shape (load range E).  Spares are new.  Price reduced: $12,000.  Can arrange delivery to nearby states.  Located in New Mexico.

Fast ESP Autocrosser For Sale - 2001 Camaro Z28

$

0

I'm selling my 2001 Camaro Z28 E Street Prepared as a race ready package with extra wheels, tires, and spares. This is one of the best prepared and fastest ESP cars in the country - ask anyone who has driven it recently (Strano, Brian Burdette, Lane Borg). I am making plans for wheel-to-wheel racing so the Camaro will need to go.

I have owned the car since Sept. 2011 when I bought it from Sam Strano. Sammy owned the car from new (Sept. 2000) and won numerous F-Stock and ESP ProSolo and Solo National Championships with it. I have finished 3rd, 4th, and 6th at the last 3 Solo Nationals. This year, my pace was hampered by too much inside wheel spin due the diff wearing out so the car is faster than the results show this year. I will purchase a new Auburn Gear Racer's Diff and include it with the car. Other than this, the car is in top shape and ready to race. I recently had it re-tuned by LG Motorsports on their dyno, changed all fluids and had the transmission fully rebuilt by Texas Drivetrain Performance (it had never been rebuilt and too many years of Sammy and I speed shifting had worn out 2nd gear....) so it shifts perfectly now. I can provide dyno sheets if interested. I have won several National Tour and ProSolo events in the car including setting Top Pax at the 2014 College Station Tour. I have setup sheets and notes for the testing I have done in the past three years. Sam has been a great resource in the development of this car too.

The Camaro is white with a 6-speed transmission. It has 49,500 miles on the odometer. The roof was originally black but I had it vinyl wrapped in white and then applied the blue and orange vinyl stripes to the car in 2012. It is currently not registered or inspected. It is always kept inside my shop and has basically only been used for autocross since I've owned it. In the interest of full disclosure, this is not a show car. It's got some dings and dents, and it was in one accident in 2006 but Sam also won Nationals in it 8 weeks later by a big margin.

$13,750 for the full package - or make me an offer! Car is located in San Angelo, TX. Come buy a fast and fun racecar for one of the most popular autocross classes out there.....one small bonus - no index racing for ProSolo! Please email me if you are interested - DOgburn at gmail dot com. Thanks for the interest!

This racecar is also legal and log booked to run in SCCA Prototype 2 or NASA ST club racing. Many Vintage/Historic organization will also recognize the racecar as a 1979 LeGrand MK18. This racecar has won events autocrossing, time trialing, and hill climbing. At 800 lbs with over 150hp, it is also VERY fast on any racetrack. High quality, turnkey racecars rarely become available. You can literally take this out and race it next weekend. This is not a ‘project’, the battery is fully charged, start it, and go set FTD this weekend!

I bought this LeGrand racecar from Joe Gonzalez in April 2012. Joe Gonzalez and Per Schroeder from Grassroots Motorsport drove this car at the SCCA Solo National Championships (when it was Blue/Yellow) in 2009. Per's post on the GRM board:
http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/2009-solo-national-championships/13940/page1/
Before I bought the racecar, I asked Per his opinion and he pushed me over the edge. He told me it was easy to drive, like a Miata. The FASTEST FREAKING Miata you can ever imagine! In the early 2000’s Terry Green lengthened the wheelbase to 81” and upgraded the racecar to be competitive in SCCA Solo BMod.

[img[http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a10/loudes13/3dsr_zps72b539d7.jpg[/img]

Before 2000 the car was roadraced. I have 2 log books with the car spanning from the 80’s to 2014. Started life as a 1979 LeGrand MK18 with Kawasaki power (vintage/historic eligible).

Easy to own, easy to drive, easy service!

Drives like a Miata, but a Miata with a power to weight ratio better than a Viper! The left hand shift is easy to adjust to and offers better packaging and reliability since the shift mechanism is on the left side of all motorcycle drivetrains. Retains the charging system and has a brand new LiPO 2lbs battery. Starts and runs without jump starting. Full electric fans and h2o pump. The electric h2o pump is the ultimate for Solo. Just turn on the pump for a couple minutes between runs and keep the engine cool. Has never been over 210F while I have owned it. Reliable enough for a single driver to run it every weekend, just check the nuts and bolts and check the chain tension. Your weekends will be trouble free. The racecar is also reliable and safe enough to run on the race track. Full SCCA log booked roll cage and charged fire system is installed in the car.

Large drivers can fit easily and get to minimum weight. I’m 5’9” and a very barrel shaped 235lbs and comfortably fit. My skinny 6’2” co-driver also has no problems. The pedals can easily be adjusted for even taller drivers. Heavier drivers can remove the fire system to get to the minimum solo weight of 1020 with driver.

bodyoff2_zps7f20776f.jpg

Decker Fiberglass body painted in Ferrari red. This body, with the louvers makes great downforce even without additional wings.

2001 Yamaha R1 drivetrain with brand new reworked stock carbs. Starts cold, starts hot, has great response, and most importantly is tuned for midrange power. This torque curve is very manageable and less peaky than typical narrow motorcycle tune. Tuned to run on 93 octane pump gas.
Brand new Barrett heavy Duty clutches. Fresh gaskets.

Carrera coilovers with 550lbs Front & 600lbs Rear 2” diameter springs. Extra spring sets included.

STRONG Front splitter that can take a beating. Add larger 'Pikes Peak' end plates and have serious DF.

2001 Yamaha R1 Engine with electric water pump and electric fans. Cools down super-fast between runs. Functioning charging system for 2lbs LiPO battery. Brand new reworked stock carbs with custom tuning.

New SFR differential housing with Wavetrac LSD unit.

New Fast Forward billet rear uprights with HD internals.

New VW CV's and custom axles by Taylor Racing.

Full assortment of sprockets with top speeds ranging from 110mph to 150mph.

New Yoshimura carbon muffler and ceramic coated custom multi-piece header.

3 sets of 13x7 & 13x10 wheels including a new set of Keiser Magnesium center wheels. Also includes a brand new pair of front 13x8.5 Bogarts that haven't even been used in anger yet!
Includes assorted of Avon and Hoosier slicks. After running both brands, both are fast and have pluses and minuses. You can win on either brand.

3 gallon fuel cell with electric pump and multiple filters.

New Racetek alcantera steering wheel.

Brand new LiPO 2lbs battery.

Wilwood brakes front & rear with upgraded pads. Includes brake bias balancing bar with cockpit adjustment.

Full instrumentation (oil temp, h2o temp, oil pressure, and neutral light) Mil-Spec switches for fans, ignition, h2o pump, fuel pump, and starter.

Large radiator, stays cool autoxing and the racetrack. I turn off the fans when moving over 20mph. Stays <200F doing continuous lapping on the track without the fans.

Includes a fully charged fire suppression system installed in the car. I still do track events and like the reassurance of a full fire system. Could be removed to make weight or move ballast.

Pegasus formula car quick jack.

Extensive spares and extra parts.

Entire package with awesome United Low-Rise Enclosed Trailer (fits in most garages) -$25,000.

LeGrand Decker DSR-1 with spares, specific tools, and setup notes - $20,000.

LeGrand Decker DSR-1 as a roller without the lower mileage 2001 Yamaha R1 engine - $18,000.

2004 RX8 T4/STL/EP track day car

This is a perfectly straight car that was bought at auction. The car has 125K on it. It is caged up and has the correct suspension from Mazdaspeed. Exhaust is done with the cats removed. The car drives great, Engine has been replaced with a 2009 engine with 2K miles. trans has been replaced with a low mileage unit. Hawk brakes all around and fresh fluid installed.  Needs seat, window net, belts, and fire extinguisher.

Would be a fun track day car or put a restrictor on and run T4 or STL     $13.5K or best offer

I'm getting out while the gettin's good, so I am offering my cars for a reduced price.

This car was built and used by us for the last few years, but very sparingly. It is a 2007 with less than 20K miles and is fully prepped as a T4 class car. It has the full Ford suspension and racing trac loc in it. It has had a rough life and been repaired a couple of times but is guaranteed to align and weight properly. Red car and it looks great. Drives even better, and has ABS.

Car is sold with out seat and transponder. Belts are current. It comes with 2 sets of wheels.

11,500.  My apologies to those who paid considerably more for cars last year.

We built this for SSB some time back and then converted it to STL use a couple years ago. Other than a couple of hiccups(trans shifter, tire), the car has won every time out. It needs real shocks REAL bad, and no one on the west coast can touch it.

It's got the right engine, cam, header, intake combo to make tons of power. K20z3 with stock trans. Comes with a couple of sets of wheels and 2 sets of used with 1 set of new BFGs.

Car is nowhere near maxed out for STL. Plenty of development left to go even faster, already makes weight with room to improve.

13K or 15k with extra low mile engine and trans. lots of spares.

Car is in excellent condition. Single owner, garage kept car. Was daily driven until around a year ago. Have had no major issues with the car. Runs great and all accessories work. Never had any engine or transmission work. Just changed transmission and rear diff fluid in the past year with Subaru OEM fluids.

The car is great to drive, and is prepped for autocross in the STU class. It is a blast out on course, and is the season STU Class winner in my local club 3 times. With a faster driver, could probably be competitive nationally with some tuning and tweaking. Selling to start a project in the modified class.

I need to clear out some cars in order to make room.  I am selling my 1990 Civic with a GSR swap.  The swap was professionally done with a 1992 Integra GSR 1.7.  It is a great motor that revs to 9K.  It is very quick.  The stock GSR motor made 170hp.  The car still looks very stock.  Mildly lowered.  Interior is in perfect condition.  No tears in the seats, it still has the complete cover in the back hatch.  This car has been adult owned and not trashed or riced out.

The car has 175K on the chassis and about 75K on the motor.  Has full A/C and pioneer stereo.  The car is located in South Florida.  I am asking $5200

Contact me at 561 - Three Seven Six - 4992 or email at ddisimo (AT) gmail (DOT) com.

    Hi All,
I have decided to sell my 89 civic si that I purchased about 4 years ago. I really don't have time to Autox this car (I have raced this car maybe 5 or 6 times in past 4 years).
The car was stolen about two years ago but the title is clean as the damage was  some minor body damage (see pictures below), stolen wheels and steering wheel. I have recent Carfax report that I can email you per your request.

    The car has:
    Modifications:
    1. NRG Quick release with Brand New Momo steering wheel with NRG lock
    2. 15x7.5 949 wheels with Yokohama Advan A08's Tires
    3. Additional 15x7 set of wheels (type and offset is unknown but fit the car) with all season tires
    4. Progress adjustable rear sway bar
    5. Koni Race with Ground control coilovers 450 front 650 rear
    6. Neuspeed Strut tower Brace
    7. Short Throw Shifter  with Authentic Mugen shift knob.
    8. Light weight battery with brand new wires.
    9. SPC front and rear camber adjustment
    10. complete poly bushing
    11. Brand New CARB legal CAT with Folomaster Hushpower muffler  and DC sport header (very light muffler end right after driver seat, passes the sound at San Diego and it's actually derivable on street)
    12. AEM Cold Air Intake
    13. Under drive pulley.
    14. Ultra-Shield Racing seat with Rear Brace and G-Force 5-point harnesses and harness bar
    15. Radio and Speaker Delete
    16. AC Delete

    New replacement parts:
    1. New radiator
    2. New steering rack
    3. New brake components (Master cylinder, calipers, drums, ...) these cars are notorious for bad break but this car brakes perform better than my F30 BMW.
    4. All the ignition parts are new (Wires, Plugs, distributor, distributor cab, ignition coil, ...)
    5. New bearings and hubs at all 4 corners
    6. New Idle valve controller, an high idle valve controller  (Car idles like a new car)

    8. New sets of Turnsignals still in the box (the ones on the car are cracked)

This cars drives very well and engine is very healthy.

Please PM me if you have any questions. see below for the most recent pictures.

    1977 Zink Z10C
The car sat in storage for about eight years until I brought it back to life a few years ago. Originally a Texas road racer, it was converted to AutoX duty (removed fire extinguisher and mirrors, and fixed layshaft first gear installed) in the 90’s. Has been dodging cones on and off ever since. After I bought it I went through the systems thoroughly to get it back up to speed, which included:

New Girling master cylinder for clutch, fresh rebuild on other two master cylinders
Replaced all braided stainless and high temp oil, fuel, and coolant lines, including (most) of the fittings
    New braided stainless brake lines
    New Pipercross air filter
    Exhaust painted w/high temp paint
    New OMP belts
New Racetech D-Ring suede steering wheel w/ quick release
New Shift-i LED sequential shift lights, works with MSD rev limiter
    Race prepped distributor
    New Bosch coil
    Race prepped Toyota starter motor
    New CV joint
    New belt
Fresh coolant, ATE brake fluid, Redline shockproof transaxle fluid, Valvoline high zinc racing oil (duh)
New fuel filter with glass sight tube
    Rebuilt all four brake calipers
New KPF Red brake pads all around
New on-board battery w/ transferable 10 year warranty
New jump battery w/ heavy duty quick disconnect
New Hoosier RB25 slicks (only two runs on them, stored wrapped, off the car, at 60 degrees)
One run Hoosier rains, fronts only
Bilstein shocks, revalved by Bilstein per specs from Jim Garry. Will include dyno sheets.
Resprayed body work Lotus Krypton Green (Space Invaders graphics are vinyl) with full SCCA solo sticker set for national tour events and prosolo events

    Also comes with:
Trailer – kind of ugly homebrew, but it’s sturdy and has ramps that store up under the car and has flush tie downs for strapping the car in.
Extensive spares package – I recently moved, and like a schmuck I can’t find my inventory list of what there is, but if anyone is interested I can make a new list. There’s three boxes full of good stuff, such as: two spare carburetors, spare coils, distributor caps, lots of suspension pieces, lots of extra gearsets, pushrods, valvetrain, valve cover, two brake calipers, four shocks and springs, master cylinder, steering wheel, range of rev limiter modules, yad yada yada. You get the idea, lots of useful bits. I think there’s even a brand new camber/caster/toe set in there somewhere.
Car cover – not fitted, but good for keeping the dust off.
    Formula car jack
Twelve Revolution wheels, black w/polished lip
Binder full of detailed notes, receipts, data, SCCA logbooks, etc from previous owners
One copy of the book How to Build and Maintain Competitive (yet legal) Formula Ford 1600 Engines, which might come in handy because…

Here’s the bad part: The last time I had the car out the motor let go. I believe it’s a spun bearing based on what others have said. I shut it down quickly and checked the oil. There were no signs of metal in the oil at the time, so I doubt it got too bad inside. I knew the motor needed to be refreshed when I got it, based on hours run, so this didn’t come as much of a surprise, and if it hadn’t happened the new owner would still need to give it a going over anyway. The motor was built to the letter of the law last time and ran very strong until, you know, it didn’t. It wasn’t a catastrophic failure by any means, and I have no doubt it would start up today if you wanted it to, but I’ve let it be.

Shortly after this happened we had a baby, bought a house (that needs lots of work) and so on. All my money and time has been diverted from racing for the time being, and I don’t see that changing in the near future, which is why I’ve decided to sell the car instead of just getting it fixed. After all the work I’ve put into it I hate to see it go, but it’s just sitting in the garage holding the trailer down, so I might as well let someone else enjoy it.

Frame checked for cracks and nothing detected. There’s a few paint chips and it’s a little dirty in places (seriously, who paints a race car frame white?), but it’s in great shape in the typically suspect places.

The suspension is set perfectly (in my mind) for autoX duty, soft enough to have some compliance on rougher lots, but very neutral and easily throttle adjustable mid turn. Will oversteer if you want it to obviously, but there’s no understeer. As far as fitment goes, I’m 6’-3”, 210 and fit fine. The seat is the aluminum shell with a truck firewall sound proofing material (basically a dense foam with reflective aluminum backing, does nothing for sound deadening here, but is surprisingly comfortable and heat/flame resistant). I have wide shoulders too and have plenty of room to spare, so it’s quite roomy (relatively speaking). If you’re smaller, the pedals are adjustable and you could just add a bead seat to fit your backside.

If you want to see pictures of anything in particular let me know.

This would be a great car for someone to jump into CM at a reasonable cost.

    $7,900 obo

This car was run in NASA and USTCC and could be run in several SCCA classes. This engine is one of my former World Challenge Touring Car engines that now is fitted with TWM ITBs. The engine has only dyno time on it since being refreshed. The engine alone is worth more than I am asking for the car (so if someone wants just the engine then I would part it out for my asking price!)

    Chassis/Suspension:

DC Integra Chassis- prof. stripped and caged by P1 Motorsports
Tein N1 all-aluminum dampers- hands down the best damper in the universe!
    Omni front upper adjustable A-arms
Too many Eibach spring sets to list
    6 Motegi Trak-Lite 2.0 wheels- 17x8
    6 Kosei K-1 wheels- 15x6.5
Enough tires to race for years

    Engine/Fuel:

B18C5 (Integra Type-R) head with B16B block and ITR crank (1.8l displacement)
TWM individual throttle bodies (w/ carbon air horns if that matters)
    Endyn Roller Wave 12:1 pistons
    Supertech flat-top, oversized valves
Stock ITR Cams-- friggin' thieves stole the Jun III cams it used to run!
    T1R Header
Headwork that is unbelievable including divorced-port intake (it’s amazing- think Porsche factory RSR stuff)
Way, way over 100hp/ltr AT THE WHEELS (call me and I’ll give you the figs-- I have the dyno sheet I will provide to the buyer. You should see the torque curve that the ITBs provide!)

    Transmission:

ITR tranny with 4:910 final drive
    ATS close-ratio gearset
    Kaaz LSD

    Brakes:

Fronts- AP 4 piston calipers w/ 11.8” full floating rotors w/ Ferodo pads
Rears- ITR rear discs w/ Cobalt friction pads
    Braided stainless lines all around

    Other:

    Huge spares package
    Sparco steering wheel
    Autometer gauges
MaxQData system- complete data acquisition with track mapping and more ways to dissect data than any one person can use

$9,300 for complete car (turn-key, ready to race) or $8,000 for the motor alone (I have spent double this on the motor)

Price out just the cost of Tein N1s, the AP brake kit, and the ATS gearset alone and you are not far from my asking price for everything… so buy this from me before I realize what an idiot I am for selling it so cheap! I can even take credit card!
